This is a tricky one… am I cheating if I have categories and post multiple makes?
I’ve hyperlinked all the images to the original posts – in case you want more pictures or details…
I’ve also created a Made-by-Me 2013 page where you can see all my makes…
BY HAND LONDON
I love all of these makes. The latest girl in the BHL Club has surfaced many many times this party season – with both heels and bare feet… Georgia is a go-anywhere girl… and seriously comfortable. I asked my husband if it was appropriate for an informal event… and he said “oh well I’ll just have to put up with having the hottest wife in the room again…” LOL I think that’s a good sign.
and my lovely Anna dresses… I love all these…

Jungle Anna – there’s that wild thigh slit… I finished it a little higher than Anna Roses… cos Jungle Anna is a wild girl…
MEGAN NIELSEN
Love both of these makes and wear them a lot!
GRAINLINE
It’s a recent love affair but I love the modern simplicity of Jen’s designs.
KNITTING
I re-taught myself to knit. All I can say is YouTube is a wonder! Of all my makes I adore Idlewood the most. Long, warm, casual AND it has a monster cowl.
MARIA DENMARK & VOGUE MASH-UP
I adore this pattern mash-up. I wear the blue dress a lot on the weekends.
And Clairy – she’s my kinda gal… I’ve worn her to Frocktails and to a work function.
In both versions I feel fabulous and I get loads of compliments.
My original Maria Denmark day-to-night top is also heavily worn.
Buy this pattern!
HONORABLE MENTIONS
I’ve made lots of things I really like this year! I know – fatheaded of me but it’s true… so the honourable mentions go to…
Hot Mess Birthday Dress

Hot Mess Birthday Dress – I’ve worn this quite a lot. it’s easy to wear and the b/w scheme make it as classic – despite the craziness!
Liesl + Co Late Lunch Tunic aka my beach shirt…
McCalls 6611 Fashion Star Jacket
Sewaholic Lonsdale
There are a few more – but that’s enough 🙂
These are all awesome makes! I’d be totally stoked if I was you. The Megan neilsen shorts and the fashion star jacket are my faves!
I think everything you make is stunning! So hard to pick a fave, but I’ll go for the Late Lunch Tunic as a surprising turn around of a pattern for me!
Goodness, you’ve made some stunners this year! Congratulations 🙂
I agree with Shell – I love everything you make!
Ooh lovely pieces. I really like all your knitted pieces! I’ve added them to my favorites on Ravelry!
If I had half as many wins in a single year, I’d be bragging like crazy! Every one of these makes is fantastic and I can see why you couldn’t narrow it down to just 5–I wouldn’t be able to either! I’ll be curious to see what makes the top misses now–surely you didn’t make much more than this in a year?!
Some seriously gorgeous makes here, Lizzie. I want some of your sewing proliferancy to rub off on me! I think my favourite from your favourites is the cascade skirt… or maybe the rose Anna. 🙂
The cascade fabric came from Darn Cheap in Melbourne – I just looked at it and thought “hello Cascade skirt!” and I hadn’t even considered making it until that moment.
Every garment is just fantastic. You should be very proud. I always look forward to reading your posts, not only for the great sewing but also for the clever and entertaining way you write about and present them. You are an inspiration.
So many gorgeous makes!! I still love your sequins number and agree that your fashion star jacket is just tops. Oh and your birthday mash up… well no wonder you had a hard time deciding!
Good Lord, lady! I knew you were a fab seamstress, but en masse – wowsers! x
Amazing and so inspiring! Congratulations on all of the garments you made this past year!
Damn! You’ve had a productive year! You’ve put me to shame! I love all of these– beautiful work!
you are such an inspiration in how you make patterns and styles work for you. great work this year!
You’re right, they’re all lovely and deserving of inclusion and I can only admire them from afar since there’s nothing there that I could ever wear!
My goodness, you’ve made some lovely pieces this year! I love your By Hand London series especially, that company suits you!
You are so talented, Lizzy, I really like everything you make. Great sewing pattern choices, as well. Your style has a real ‘classic with a twist’ slant to it that really appeals. (I actually got the Sewaholic Cambie dress pattern for Christmas and bought it on your recommendation as it being a good one for my body type. Love your versions of it!!)
Oh I’m a huge Cambie addict – for a long time every fabric I looked at wanted to become a Cambie. And for all I thought I wasn’t a full skirted dress girl I wear them a lot!
Thank you for your blog and twitter comments – you have been a lovely new friend to find this year 🙂
Ditto 🙂
Amazing makes, your fabric choices are also spot on. I love your Georgia dress. Happy 2014!
Ack! All of your hits are pure solid gold. What a year! x
Wow! Such lovely garments, amazing photography and fabulous scenery! I look forward to seeing your ‘makes’ in 2014!
I cannot get over how stunning your Anna Rose is, love it!
All your makes are stunning – but the Georgia dress I dream about at night! It’s just so great.
Thank you! It’s so comfortable in stretch denim I wear it a lot. I saw in a recent blog post you might lash out & break free of Burda 🙂
Yep, there is certainly a plan – if any pattern does it it’s Georgia!
You really made some gorgeous things this year – no surprise there though 🙂 Thank you for helping inspire me to learn to knit this year – one of the best things I did all year!! 😀
Oh I’m so pleased you did learn to knit!! I’m so happy with my needles some days, it’s very zen compared to puzzling over a sewing pattern!
Oh me too!!!… sometimes it’s all i can bring myself to do after a very very long day’s work/commute/more work ^__^
I can’t even think from all the over stimulation, there are just too many amazing pieces here! Well done you sewing rock star!
