This is a snapshot (with links to posts) of my 2012 sewing! Nah, I don’t sew much…

Megan Nielsen’s Kelly Skirt in camo – this is very ‘weekend’ me, camo and boots. I love these boots!!

Wow! Boomdeeada sent me your way, and am I glad she did. You are a lovely blogger, seamstress, model and spirit. Looking forward to following along.
Hello 🙂 lovely to meet you!
It’s always lovely to know that we aren’t just all typing and talking away into the ether that there are people out there ‘listening’.
Isn’t that the truth! It can feel that way in this great universe. I’ve found some of the best bloggers by following comment threads on the blogs I’m already enjoying.
I grew up sewing, than later sewed for a living for a local community theater. I lost touch with it for awhile, too. This year I’m sewing Halloween costumes for me and my sister. It’s a lot of fun.
Your blog is inspiring.
Absolutely love the diagonal cut dresses. So chic. Very well made. Kudos for outstanding creativity.
They were fussy to make but I loved the result, thank you!
Wow! That is one impressive collection of gorgeous clothes! Very impressive… Must spend more time sewing in 2013, must find time…
Thank you 🙂 just find a few minutes here and there – you will be surprised just what you get done!
Love your blog. Love your “way”. Your collection is lovely, but I think Vogue 1247 truly stands out. It’s great on you. I’ve been sewing since I was ~10 years old (the calendar suggests I’m older now; I choose to look the other way). Regrettably, I’ve been rude and negligent to my faithful Bernina lately. You’ve given me a shove and I’m grateful.
Vogue 1247 is my all-time favourite pattern, endlessly wearable!
I neglected my Bernina for many years, she forgave me and we are in a very happy relationship! Enjoy your sewing!
You have made some lovely stuff Lizzy (is that your real name?!) I am also very envious of your beach scenery. All in all, great blog. Manju
Thank you very much, our beaches are not so fabulous at the moment, they are cleaning up flood debris.
Yes Lizzy is my real name – or at least a shortening of Elizabeth (which is a lot of syllables – thanks parents!). I’m known by lots of names but Lizzy is one of the common ones.
